Tevium vs TiviMate: live TV, addons and what you pay
Compare Tevium and TiviMate on live TV, recordings, Stremio addons, profiles and monthly, yearly or lifetime pricing.
TiviMate is a strong choice for a dedicated live-TV setup. Tevium is the choice for bringing live IPTV, provider movies and series, and Stremio addon catalogues into one TV interface. The main difference is how much of your viewing fits inside the same app.
Prices side by side
| Plan | Tevium | TiviMate |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Core player | One playlist, limited guide |
| Monthly | US$1.99 | Not offered |
| Yearly | US$15.99 | $9.99 |
| Lifetime | US$39.99 | ~$35 (varies) |
| Paid-plan devices | 5 | 5 |
TiviMate costs less on the annual plan. Its approximate lifetime price is also lower. Tevium earns its place through the combined IPTV and addon experience, rather than a claim to be the cheapest subscription. Tevium prices are in USD; TiviMate's final store price varies by region.
Live TV and the guide
Both support M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker sources, multiple playlists, favourites and a programme guide. TiviMate's familiar grid and remote controls fit viewers who spend most of their time channel surfing.
Tevium pairs its two-dimensional guide with preview playback, channel organisation, last-channel recall and search across live TV, movies and series. Move between the guide and fullscreen without turning the session into a trip through several apps.
Provider catch-up is available in both. It opens a programme from your provider's archive and requires an archive-enabled source. That differs from keeping a local timeshift buffer on your device.
Movies, series and Stremio addons
Tevium gives on-demand viewing its own detail screens, seasons, episodes, My List and continue watching. Install a compatible Stremio addon by manifest URL and browse its catalogues beside your provider library.
TiviMate does not include a built-in Stremio addon catalogue workflow. If you use one app for channels and another for addon films, Tevium brings those two parts together. Debrid streams use your own configured addon and service account.
Recording, multiview and profiles
Both players record supported streams. Tevium has manual and scheduled recording with a dedicated Recordings library. TiviMate also has multiview for watching several channels at once; Tevium does not currently include multiview.
Tevium profiles separate household favourites, viewing history and settings. Its playback preferences include frame-rate matching and decoder selection, while live channels have automatic reconnection with an on-screen status message.
Which should you choose?
