How to add an M3U playlist to Tevium

A step-by-step guide to adding an M3U playlist to Tevium on Android TV, including how to attach the EPG and fix common problems.

Adding an M3U playlist to Tevium takes about a minute. Here is the exact process, plus what to do if channels or the guide do not load.

What you need

An M3U playlist URL from your IPTV provider. It usually looks like:

http://yourprovider.xyz/get.php?username=YOU&password=SECRET&type=m3u

Your provider may also give you a separate EPG URL, often ending in .xml or .xml.gz.

Step 1: Open Tevium

Launch Tevium. On first run it opens playlist setup. To add another playlist later, open Settings, then Add playlist.

Step 2: Choose M3U

Select M3U playlist as the source type.

Step 3: Paste the playlist URL

Paste the full M3U URL. Use the remote to type carefully, or paste from a phone using a companion keyboard if your device supports one.

Step 4: Add the EPG URL

If your provider gave you a separate EPG URL, add it here. If not, Tevium will try to read the EPG reference from inside the playlist itself.

Step 5: Load and watch

Select Connect. Tevium downloads the playlist, builds your channel list and categories, and loads the guide.

Frequently asked questions

My channels load but there are no channel logos.

Logos come from inside the M3U playlist. If your provider's playlist does not include logo tags, Tevium falls back to a placeholder icon.

The EPG is empty. How do I fix it?

The most common fix is adding the correct EPG URL. Check that your provider's EPG link matches your playlist, and re-enter it in the playlist settings.

Can I use both M3U and Xtream Codes?

Yes. Tevium supports multiple playlists, and you can mix Xtream Codes, M3U and Stalker/MAC sources.

Does Tevium modify my playlist?

No. Tevium only reads your playlist to build the channel list and guide. It does not alter the source.
